What is Multiage Education?

Multiage classrooms are nothing new; in fact, they have been around since the days of the one room school house.  Multiage classrooms are purposefully structured to contain a wide span of ages.  At Weston Elementary we offer two multiage classrooms, which are groupings of students who are traditionally in first and second grades.  Children in the multiage setting remain with the same teachers and peers for the two years following Kindergarten.  We encourage you to learn more about multiage and want to help you decide if this is a good learning option for your child, so we have provided the following links to more info as well as contact information for our multiage teachers.
